First of all - thank you for taking the time to visit my website and learn a little more about my story. It means the world to me that you’re here!

I am so fortunate to have been born and raised in Ventura - a cozy beach town nestled between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles along the iconic southern California coast.

It really is a community unlike any other.

I have always been drawn to the health and wellness industry. Growing up, I joined a high school program called the Bioscience Academy to explore potential careers in healthcare. In school, I would frequently write about my love of science and passion for serving others - and in the evenings I would experiment with cooking and baking.

It only made sense that I would go off to study Nutrition at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. It was the perfect way to combine my passion for health and wellness and my growing interest in food science. (Plus you have equal access to the mountains and the beach, what’s not to love?)

While at Cal Poly, I kept busy with various leadership groups and part-time jobs. It was while working at a hotel in Avila Beach that I discovered the world of marketing. My first ever project was writing a welcome letter for guests with dogs - from the point of view of the GM’s very own canine friend, Snookie. The letter was light and cute and signed with a paw print, but also functioned as a way to communicate our pet policies and local dog-friendly activities. Subsequently generating business all over town. I soon moved on to updating website room descriptions and other small projects here and there.

I loved (and still do!) using my talents to promote things I care about.

Upon graduating, my career path looked something like this:

  • Sales and marketing at an organic certification agency

  • Recruiting at a healthcare staffing center

  • Marketing and patient/physician relations at a radiology center

  • Marketing education at a leading nonprofit marketing solutions company

Then in 2019, I became a yoga instructor so that I could find a health-conscious community and be of service to others while working at a full-time office gig.

The following year I was asked to assist with email campaigns and website updates at a couple of local yoga studios and immediately loved it.

As a yoga teacher, I have an insider’s look at what it takes to be successful as a wellness business. I have also seen a lot of small businesses fail over the years, largely *I believe* due to poor marketing and lack of visibility in the community.

I have since left my corporate job and now I want to help others avoid critical marketing mistakes and put their best foot forward. It doesn’t matter how great the product or service is if no one knows who you are or what you do.

My mission is to tell your story through expert content marketing, so that you can grow your connections and make a bigger impact on the world.

Kate is so easy and wonderful to work with. From our first call I knew she was a perfect fit. She knows marketing and the social media landscape so well.
